DEMO PREVIEW

This is a demo report showing the structure and signal types DemandProof produces. No real scan data is shown here. With a live provider, each section would contain scored signals from public roadmaps, Reddit, review sites, and competitor pages.

Demand Score

Demand Score: Preview

With a configured demand provider, this section would show a composite demand score based on signal strength across roadmap requests, Reddit pain points, review complaints, competitor gaps, and buyer-intent keywords. The score ranges from 1.0 to 10.0.

Verdict

Verdict: Build / Pivot / Avoid

The verdict is determined by signal strength. Strong, repeated demand signals across multiple sources indicate a Build opportunity. Mixed signals suggest Pivot. Weak or absent signals suggest Avoid. This demo does not show a real verdict since no scan has been run.

Signal Sources

DemandProof aggregates signals from six categories:

  1. 1Public roadmap requests (Canny, GitHub Issues, product roadmaps)
  2. 2Reddit complaints and feature requests across relevant subreddits
  3. 3Review-site complaints (G2, Capterra, TrustPilot)
  4. 4Competitor feature gaps (missing features users are requesting)
  5. 5Stale planned requests (marked planned but never shipped)
  6. 6Buyer-intent keywords (search terms indicating purchase intent)

Signal Breakdown (Demo)

With a live scan, this section would show individual demand signals grouped by source, each with a relevance score. For example:

  • Roadmap signal: Feature request with N upvotes, open for N months
  • Reddit signal: Recurring complaint thread with N comments
  • Review signal: Negative review citing missing feature
  • Competitor gap: Competitor lacks feature requested by N users

Competitor Gap Preview (Demo)

With a live scan, this section would identify competitor products in the space and highlight features users are requesting but competitors are not providing. This helps founders position their product to fill real gaps.

Strategic Recommendation (Demo)

With a live scan, this section would provide a strategic recommendation based on signal strength: whether to Build (strong demand), Pivot (mixed signals), or Avoid (weak demand). It would include suggested positioning angles and next validation steps.
