Everything you need to know about DemandProof and SaaS demand intelligence.
What is DemandProof?
DemandProof is an independent idea validation and demand research tool. It scans public signals — Reddit discussions, review sites, feature request boards, and competitor pages — and organizes them into a structured research report so you can research an idea before you build it.
Who is DemandProof for?
DemandProof is built for founders, indie hackers, SaaS builders, agencies, product managers, and creators who want to research public demand signals before committing time and money to building a product or feature.
Are reports guaranteed?
No. Reports are based on available public signals, the inputs you provide, and reasonable assumptions at the time of generation. They are a research aid, not a guarantee or certification of any outcome.
Does DemandProof guarantee product-market fit or revenue?
No. DemandProof does not guarantee product-market fit, revenue, customers, funding, or business success. Reports help you compare and prioritize signals — real-world outcomes depend on execution, timing, competition, and factors outside of public signal data.
What kind of signals does DemandProof review?
DemandProof reviews public demand signals including Reddit complaints, feature requests on public roadmaps, review-site complaints, competitor feature gaps, and buyer-intent keywords. These signals are scored and clustered so you can decide what deserves deeper validation.
Is this investment, business, or legal advice?
No. DemandProof reports are informational only and do not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. See our Disclaimer for details, and consult a qualified professional before making financial, legal, or business decisions.
How should I use a DemandProof report?
Use a DemandProof report as one input in a broader research process — alongside customer interviews, landing page tests, pricing tests, and your own domain expertise. Treat the build/pivot/avoid verdict as a starting point for further validation, not a final answer.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis and include a set number of demand scans or credits per billing period. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All plans are billed with no long-term commitment. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard, and you'll retain access through the end of your current billing period.
What is the refund policy?
Because access, credits, and reports are delivered digitally and generally used immediately, payments are generally non-refundable once used. Billing errors can be reviewed within 7 days of the charge. See our Refund Policy for full details.
How do I contact support?
Email us at support@demandproofhq.com or use the Contact page. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days.
What is a Reddit pain point finder?
A Reddit pain point finder scans public Reddit threads to identify repeated complaints, unmet needs, and product research clues. DemandProof uses those signals as one input in a broader validation report.
How does DemandProof find SaaS ideas?
DemandProof scans public demand signals including Reddit complaints, feature requests on public roadmaps, review-site complaints, competitor feature gaps, stale planned requests, and buyer-intent keywords. These signals are scored and clustered so you can decide what deserves deeper validation.
Does DemandProof scrape private data?
No. DemandProof only scans publicly available data such as public Reddit threads, public product roadmaps, public review sites, and public competitor pages. We do not access private messages, private groups, or any data that is not publicly visible.
Can I track Canny or roadmap feature requests?
DemandProof is designed to organize public feature request boards including Canny-style boards, public product roadmaps, and GitHub Issues. Availability depends on the connected provider and source visibility.
Is this better than manual idea research?
DemandProof is a manual SaaS idea research alternative that automates the process of scanning public demand signals. Instead of manually searching Reddit, reading roadmaps, and tracking competitor gaps, DemandProof does this systematically and scores the signals for you.
What is SaaS demand intelligence?
SaaS demand intelligence is the practice of using public demand signals to evaluate product ideas and research customer problems. Instead of relying only on brainstorming, founders use demand intelligence to find patterns worth validating.
How many demand reports do I get?
It depends on your plan: Starter ($19/mo) includes 1 demand report per month, Pro ($49/mo) includes 5 reports per month, and Agency ($149/mo) includes 20 reports per month. Each report covers one niche, category, or pain-point keyword. See the Pricing page for full plan details.
What happens if the demand provider is not configured?
If the demand provider API is not configured, scans will return a clear status message and no credits will be deducted. You will not be charged for scans that fail due to provider configuration.
